Hello! My name is Duo Chen, a Fine Art wedding photographer based in Berlin. Nice to meet you!

Originally from a big city in the South of China, I now live with my dear husband Sean and our puppy Coco Crispy in Berlin. On a typical weekend, you will find us taking a stroll in the quiet, suburban side of Berlin, or playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as if there is no tomorrow :D

I have over 7 years of experience shooting weddings, civil ceremonies, engagements, and couples across Europe. My photography inspiration mainly comes from the realist and impressionist painting styles of 18th–19th century France and Italy, as well as other Renaissance art influences. I am big fan of vintage flea markets, national galleries, and I once spent over 7 hours at Musée d’Orsay in Paris.

I would describe my style as elegant, bright, timeless, light and airy. What matters most to me is the client’s experience. I pay close attention to my couples’ connection with each other, and put them at ease for the sessions. I want nothing more than capturing your most important day so that your beautiful memories last forever. If it all speaks to you, I would love to hear from you!

Every shooting is made for you, including unlimited 1-1 consultation sessions before the shooting, we will talk about:

  • Detailed walk-through of your day and how I plan, facilitate the photoshoot;

  • Location scouting & time of the shooting;

  • Outfits, styling, bouquet;

  • Tips and tricks to add extra sparkles to your photos and your special day.

PRICE

  • Preparing a secret proposal can be nerve-racking! But it doesn't have to be. I will help you break down all the necessary steps and provide you with a list of checklist before the proposal.

    Session starts at 250€.

  • Whether we are shooting in an exotic foreign land far far away, or at your cosy home that's close to your heart, I will ensure an intimate, adventurous shooting, capturing your raw emotions.

    Session starts at 350€.

  • Your day is finally here! I love the fuss-free side of town hall weddings, and your shooting should be like that, too. I will help you coordinate each segment of the shooting: Ceremony, portraits/group photos, detail shots, exit/after party.

    Session starts at 350€.

  • This is your magnificent day, and magnificent photos will be designed and created for your memories to live on forever. My goal is to make your photos feel timeless, incredibly personal and bespoke.

    Session starts at 1800€.

She found quiet locations where we didn’t have be embarrassed because of random passer-by, but that still allowed us to make the most of the pretty backgrounds Berlin has to offer.
