The Standesamt Tempelhof-Schöneberg is located inside the historic Rathaus Schöneberg at John-F.-Kennedy-Platz, 10825 Berlin, one of Berlin's most recognizable civic buildings. However, the entrance to Standesamt Schöneberg is through the side-door at Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße, instead of the main entrance facing the John-F.-Kennedy-Platz.
Flea market in front of Rathaus Schöneberg: Every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., a flea market takes place right in front of Rathaus Schöneberg. If you are getting married over a weekend, plan your arrival early to avoid traffic and parking difficulties.
What Does the Wedding Room(Trauzimmer) and the Waiting Room Look Like?
One of the biggest highlights of the Standesamt Tempelhof-Schöneberg von Berlin is the beautifully-decorated ceremony room. The Standesamt can occasionally impose different limits for operational or safety reasons, so the definitive answer is the one provided in your booking confirmation or by the office directly.

You can also reserve a seating area for your friends and family, and pre-order some drinks to save some wait time after your wedding.
2. Laax Biergarten
Another family-friendly beer garden to celebrate your Standesamt Schöneberg wedding, Laax is located near the South entrance of Rudolph-Wilde-Park and is popular for wedding couples. You can also rent Laax either partially or the whole garden for your wedding celebration. There is a small glass house, a few sand boxes for kids, and multiple comfortable seating corners for small and medium-sized parties.
